The Bentayga is Bentley’s very first SUV, and is an evolution of the 2012 Bentley EXP 9 F concept car. Not only that but it will also be the first to receive Bentley’s new twin-turbo W12 engine. Production of the car is expected to begin after 27 November 2015. Its name was inspired by the world’s largest transcontinental snow forest. The vehicle was originally going to be produced at a Volkswagen Bratislava Plant in Slovenia however an agreement was reached between the company and the British Government for it to be made at the company’s Crewe factory. In the recent years, Bentley has invested over £800 million in the new facility and hired over 1000 new employees. It’s pretty clear why Bentley remains one of the world’s best known luxury car manufacturers. Creating vehicles for nearly 100 years, the company shows no signs of slowing down.
